Hello See How We Sew Readers! We have pondered over how to begin this post since it has been so long since you have heard from us. Rather than give you a litany of excuses for our absence, we decided to focus on the positive changes coming to See How We Sew.
First, you may notice that we have a new look as a result of changing and updating our website. See How We Sew was founded in 2011 and so much has changed in the blogging world since then. We are focused on looking forward and adapting our site to continue our support of the community that we are so fortunate to be a part of.
We have also added two new contributors to our group, Julia McLeod and Kirsten Hosemann. Both are from the Bay Area, very talented and are excited to share their passion for quilting, fiber arts, inspiration, and more with you. We are very excited to have them on board! They will be joining in the next week with introductions and their first posts with See How We Sew. These talented women have so much to offer. We know you will enjoy hearing their stories and following their projects.
As we add new material to the website, you might see a few changes each time you visit. Be sure to check out some of the new pages as they are added. They are all intended to be a resource for ideas, information and inspiration for our quilting community. Also, as we have been redesigning our blog, we have been reminded of the wealth of information that has been shared on See How We Sew since our humble beginning 9 years ago. So much of our content has been to celebrate amazing quilters, designers, artists and authors in the quilting community. We hope you take advantage of this by re-reading some of these favorite posts as we add them to our Ideas, Information and Inspiration pages in the new menu bar.
In the meantime, please know that we are doing well and hope the same is true for you. Moving forward, we (Pati and Laura) will pop in to say hello and share our current projects, along with Julia and Kirsten sharing more about themselves.
